Your initial contact with our doctors may be for a routine eye exam. Your exam will monitor the internal and external health of your eyes, as well as provide a refraction to update your glasses prescription. We test and treat such conditions as dry eyes, macular degeneration, strabismus, glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal changes due to diabetes or detachment. We also perform cataract and Lasik pre- and post-operative examinations.
Pediatric Eye Care
In our pediatric eye exams, we administer specific verbal and non-verbal tests to assess infants’ and children’s vision. Your infant's first eye exam at about six months of age will test for excessive or unequal amounts of farsightedness, nearsightedness, or astigmatism and eye movement as well as eye health problems. Your child's vision and its' proper development is critical from infancy through the preschool years. Pediatric eye exams before entering kindergarten will assure you your child is ready for the learning ahead!
